with horses.

COURSE OVERVIEW

​

This course aligns with Ofqual Level Descriptors for Level 4 and will provide learners with the skills and knowledge to fit saddles correctly and safely.

​

The course is fully flexible, with both theory modules and 6 days practical training and assessment, enabling the student to work at their own pace. 

​

When completed and passed, this Diploma ensures that the student has the necessary skills to enter the industry as a professional saddle fitter.

The manufacture and construction of saddles including what to look out for as well as problems and faults etc

saddle fit

Girthing

Role of the saddle fitter in the equine industry

Correct and incorrect fit

​

Assessment of the horse and rider relating to saddle fit and how the rider can influence the horse and saddle
